Another Princess Day...
|
|
Another day in "ever after"  ....Aunt Jenni and Pappy sent more princess dresses. We now have Ariel and Snow White. The girls are so cute!!
Naricyn is really coming out of her shell. After the regression issue over the summer, she's back to talking and playing independently. There is still no sign of wanting to go to the potty. She was so close, then POOF!!.....oh well, I tell my friend, Kate, that our girls will not go to college in a pull up. 
Naricyn is very loving and offers hugs and "sugars." She still spends a lot of time on my lap, but someday I'll want that time back. She is almost finished with her TB meds and is up to 33 pounds!! She eats soooo fast...just like her daddy. Her daddy, BTW, has been eating healthy and has lost over 10 pounds. Naricyn has never seen anything that she wouldn't eat....minus milk....no way, no flavor, no texture, so soy...no way. Go figure.
Update on Greg....he's doing JEKYLL AND HYDE with Rose Barn Theatre. He was supposed to be director, but is now playing the lead too. He can multi-task!!!! He's really burning the candle at both ends to work a full day and then do a quality show. I'm proud of all the hard work he's putting in. Neal really wants to be involved, but so far he says...it's so boring when the cast is just sitting and singing.

Look, a man!! He's grown 6 inches over the summer and is only about a quarter of an inch shorter than his father. Unbelieveable!! Now let's just balance academics and football, and girls!! He's going today and doesn't even know where his locker is!!!
At least he cares if he smells good. That's an improvement over past years.
Today is going to be fun.

Here is my boy. He's a little nervous about moving classes, but he's probably run through his schedule about a million times in his head. I've heard him and Noland talking about middle school and it's so funny. Noland is such the "expert." Neal just wants to do things his own way. Like the jeans, all with rips and everything...just HAD to have them.
I can't wait to hear about his day.

Niah is 4!!!

Princess Niah and her friend, Princess Sarah, celebrated in grand style today as they both arrived at the age of 4. Many other princesses from area kingdoms were invited to join the festivities, which included crown making, cake eating, trampoline jumping, page coloring, and royalty playing. A good time was had by all.
Including Queens Kate and Traci.

Another Reunion Weekend Comes To A Close

What a weekend!!! Whew....
The AHH reunion on Saturday was GREAT. The weather was overcast and about 75. The expected attendance was 1700....I think the weather kept some away, but it was perfect. Many families who are in the paper process attended and hopefully they felt welcome and a part of the family. Another of our travel mates came to the picnic so there were 5 Xinyi girls. In the pictures, Niah and Audrey were at their limit.
We were home after 7pm last night and the kids were bathed and bedded soon there after. Greg, Chris and I watched a little TV and we were off to Dreamland too. One of the local TV stations did a spot from the reunion on their 11pm news. Our beloved Ambassador Walt was one of those interviewed. GREAT JOB!!!
After lunch today and saying goodbye to the Fischers, the girls took a 3 hour nap...I even had to wake them. We're going to enjoy tomorrow with NOTHING to do!!!

Xinyi Nanhu Crew Reunites!!

Once a year we are blessed to have in our home, the girls who shared the first months of Niah's life. Her orphanage-mates and their families.....tonight was our night. We have new additions, since we've gone to China a second time, which only made our blessing grow.
We had babies everywhere. Let me see if I can remember them all...

Alissa-Julia's sister, adopted right before Naricyn
and their brothers, sister and parents...and new baby on the way.
We enjoyed GREAT Mexican food from our local spot, and lots more play time and talk. It was great. I hope to post pictures tomorrow.
